Contacts can be imported many ways and can be done by the user himself or by a service executed by SecuTix. It is important to import data with high quality so that it can be used efficiently by the marketing tools. No information is mandatory and data with missing fields will also be imported. With contact data import, you can create new contacts, do automatic updates on large data sets but also delete or deactivate obsoleted data.

Basic Import

Following actions can be performed using SAM, and therefore be done by the user:

• Create new contacts
• Update existing contacts

Extended Import

Extended imports have to be performed using SecuTix Services

• Create new contacts
• Update existing contacts
• Inactivate existing contacts
• Delete existing contacts
• Define criteria values for contacts
• Import from other tools

File formats

For all imports, the file format is described in Contact import Format (Extended) and example Excel files are given. If this format is not respected, special actions have to be performed on the input files and may imply higher costs.

How to import

To import data, you can do it either by yourself using Basic import, or fill the needed files and request a service.

Contact update

PS: Please describe a change request for the product to extend the import / update with some in order to do every import / update / with SAM and no more PL SQL service is needed.

Remove contacts information

Depend on how much contacts information you want to remove, you can request following services to mark a list of contacts as no longer usage. 

Invalidate contact

Delete contact

Anonymize contact

Erase contact information

Process:

• Request a service to get a list of contact with contact number in an Excel file.
• Filter the list of contact to have a list of contact you're no longer want.
• The information we need is: INSTITUTION, OPERATION and CONTACT_NR.
• You can specified other fields like FirstName and LastName to double check but we won't use it for import.

PS: These services are done by Extended import and irreversible.

You can associate a contact with a new or existed criteria / structure type by requesting a service

We accept the following data format to be imported.

• CSV not SecuTix formatted
• Excel
• Dump DB Rodrigue,
• SecuTix 1
• Sirius ?
• Digitick ?

Please describe the request clearly how much data you want to import to SecuTix from these sources. Depend on the request, special actions have to be performed on the input files and may imply higher costs.
