Currently, you may encounter issues with TNAC access control if some end customers try to enter your venue with an open pass bought more than 500 days ago (for example, an open pass valid for 2 years from the purchase date). Your end customers could also experience difficulties if they buy a time slot pass or a visit pass more than 1'500 (4 years) in advance, but this shouldn't happen often. In order to avoid such issues, SecuTix provides a new barcode format specially designed to store validity duration of very long lasting open passes or visit passes bought very long in advance.

Solution

By clicking on the reset password link and entering his new password, the internet user will be automatically logged in to some point of sales. By default, this is the point of sales from which the internet user has requested the account creation or clicked on the forgotten password option. Although this already existing behaviour is fine in most of the cases, it may lead to unwanted behaviours in special cases. For example, when a relay distributes some tickets to a new contact (that is created during the distribution process), the new contact will receive a reset password email linked to the B2B sales channel used for the distribution. However, the newly created contact cannot login to this B2B sales channel.

In order to avoid such issues (the internet user cannot log in after having set or changed his password successfully), the operator has now the possibility to select the B2C point of sales to which the recipient of the password reset email will be logged in.

The drop down displays the B2C points of sales available within the same organisation. If no point of sales is selected, the current point of sales will be used (current behaviour).
