Faced with the external technological constraint arising from the discontinuation of support for Java applets in Firefox, we are committed to offering you an alternative while making the changes required by a new opportunity to enhance our solution.
Currently controlled via a Java applet, the former LCD customer displays (with two lines of 20 characters each) will soon therefore no longer be supported by SecuTix. We thus take this opportunity to offer you a new fully customisable public screen which will offer your customers a modern experience in line with your image. The new public display not only imbues your institution with a sense of modernity, but also opens up new possibilities in terms of institutional communication, presentation of your offers and a wealth of information sent to your visitors.
Viewing the current order
The public display already existed in SecuTix 360º. However, its use was restricted to the presentation of the seating plan and operator-selected seats. Its use has been extended to allow you to view details of the current order, the amount payable and change. The seating plan is superimposed on the details of the current command once the operator loads the seating plan screen. Once seat selection has been validated, the details of the order are displayed again.
Customization
You can easily customise your public display screen according to your communication objectives, the type of use and the hardware used.
In addition to the background colour and text, you can define the layout and incorporate additional multimedia content to enhance the display and offer an initial immersive experience to your visitors.
When ordering, the multimedia content will either be hidden (opaque), displayed transparently (transparent) or displayed side by side (split) depending on the layout.
"Simple" layout (opaque)
In this layout, the display of the order details is superimposed on the multimedia content, the latter only being visible between two orders. Designed primarily for small resolutions, this layout has the advantage of being highly readable. (See the illustration above for an example.)"Transparent" layout
When ordering, the order content is superimposed transparently over the multimedia content. This layout was designed to disseminate institutional content specific to the institution, such as the logo, slideshow or video.
"Split" layout
In this version, the order details are displayed on half of the screen, leaving the other half completely free to display additional content, either yours or that of your partners. In the context of a commercial partnership, advertising images or video of the advertiser will remain visible and are never hidden by the order details. You thus have a communication space that you can market to your partners.
Hardware
Certified hardware for public display is as follows:
- Glancetron 70-SM (800x480)
- Elo 0710L 7" (800x480)
- DELL E1715S 17’’(1280x1024)
It is possible to use other types of screens provided they have a minimum resolution of 800x480. It should be noted that, for displaying the seating plan, it is possible to use the minimum resolution, although we recommend a higher resolution for it (1280x960, 1280x1024, 1600x900 or more) so that it is optimally displayed.
