How to configure a donation product in SecuTix ?

SecuTix allows to configure donation products to collect funds from you loyal customers to support your organization in this challenging context. Donations follow the same online purchase process as any regular products, except that no tickets are attached to it. You can then engage with your donors either using SAM or the reporting. You will find below a user manual and best practices.

In SecuTix, there is a dedicated product family named "Donations". You can access this through the Catalogue menu 'Donations'

To create a donation product, you can do the following :

  1. Go to Organization context >> catalogue >> donations
  2. Click on "NEW" to create a new donation product
  3. Here select a nice and engaging name for your donation product such as "We need your support" or "help us and the culture with your donations, we need you." etc...
  4. Decide if your donation will be a fixed predefined amount or let donors decide how much they would like to donate with the "user defined" amount.
  5. Validate and "RUN" your donation product
  6. Don't forget to allocate a product profile to your donation to make it will on sale online and on boxoffice.

TIP: When you add your Donation products to the product profile - be sure to remember to check that the Tariff which is used is also made available online. This can be done through Product Profile > Tariffs

How to sell a donation product in SecuTix ?

Back office / Box office sales

  1. In Sales / reservation, add a contact to the cart (the one who has the credit note).

2. Then add a donation product. If the donation is parametrized with a free amount, you can select the value in the temporary cart. 

3. You can close the order using the payment method Credit note

Online sales

  1. Client finds the donation product on the landing page or thanks to a link from website
  2. He can choose the amount if wants to give
  3. On the last page of the shop, instead of paying by credit card, he can use his credit note
