How can I extend the validity of a dated ticket?
When extending the validity period of a dated product, the only manipulation required in SecuTix is at the access control level.
This handling should be done as close as possible to the day of the visit, ideally on the day of the visit itself.
In Organization > Access Control > Catalog > Product List, click on the product you want to extend and replace the expiration date (default is 1) with a number of days sufficient to cover the extension period.
Example:
- Old date: valid 1 day on March 2
- New date: valid for 2 more months
- Expiry date: 60 days
It is of course possible to supplement the access control with a visual check.
How to extend the validity of a product?
For a dated product (such as a visit pass), it is possible to add slots at any time in the event that an exhibition is extended, for example.
For an undated product (undated pass type), it is possible to change the effectivity parameters of the product. For example, change the validity period of the product from 2 to 6 from the date of purchase. However, this rule change will not apply to tickets that have already been sold.
