Championship season tickets in SecuTix are sold at a fix price, assigned to the season ticket itself, with matches inside the season tickets having a valuation at 0 in the system.

As a result, the refund of matches inside Season Ticket results will not result in a meaningful refund amount, for cancellation/refund is processed via:

(Note that the match is valued correctly in the specific context of Upgrade at the box-office, or for resales processed by the resale platform.)

Will match tickets inside season ticket be cancelled when performing mass-refund of a match?

When you refund in bulk one or more matches using the mass-refund batch (instructions available here), tickets inside a season ticket will also be cancelled, if you decide to include the corresponding tariffs in the batch.

While this cancels the ticket, the refund order will have an amount of 0, resulting in no actual refund to the season ticket holder.

How can I still refund part of a season ticket amount to my Season Ticket Holders?

During unit refunds at the box-office, it is possible to add a free product to force the refund amount to be correct.


For mass refunds, we recommend an approach based on crediting your fans' accounts. Such amounts can then be used towards the purchase of their season tickets in the following season (remember in this case to authorize the payment method in the sales channel in the next season).

To achieve this, you can follow the following procedure:

  1. Setup a specific External payment methods (in Institution > Payment methods) that you will be using the credit the credit balance of your season ticket holders
  2. Use list of sale reports to identify the amount to refund per season ticket holder
  3. Either:
    • For low volumes/exceptional cases, use the Credit Balance screen (see right) in the sales context in order to credit the contact with the corresponding amount, using the specific payment method to allow financial tracking afterwards
    • For larger volume, we can offer you a tailored service to help you load credit balances in bulk, for a larger number of contacts. Please create a service ticket to get assistance.

Alternative exists (such as advantages giving access to vouchers or vouchers with single-use codes), that could be useful depending on your commercial policies but they might be complex to operate in case the number of different price points is high.
