Add a new access control device in the SecuTix settings.
Institution > Access Control > Control Devices.
Then fill in the fields as follows:
- New Control Device, set the checkflow (which is the scanning direction), with the code of the organisation, the type of scanner is PDA, the mode it will be such as Online or Standalone, and the name of the device.
- Infrastructure configuration contains useful information for old PDAs with the exception of the "Server Address" field. Please enter data in the required fields, this data does not need to be correct. Concerning the "Server Address" field, if you fill it in, it will overwrite the address which is normally used for the creation of the configuration barcode (server access address in the institution's configuration at the control level). 'access).
- PDA user interface contains information for PDAs. Select your language, we recommend that you add all the Interface elements to the right on the list as this activates all settings for access control that will be configured elsewhere. You can change the sounds that are played when scanning happens by selecting them from the dropdown list. It is also possible to add your own sounds with a PCM file via Organisation > Access control > Initialisations > Sounds.
Once the configuration has been completed, you can generate a QR code which will automatically generate the parameters on the PDA device.
Configure the access control device
Please ensure that you have downloaded the Secutix Access Control Application from the App store or Play store to begin.
When you first launch the device, you must create and sync the configuration with S360.
First of all, please check that you have network (Wi-Fi or data) on the access control device.
Go through the first screen by pressing the "GET STARTED" button.
Then please enter the type of scanner (device camera or laser scanner), the orientation during scans, the kiosk mode if necessary and finally the 4-digit access code (security to access the configuration screen). Pin should be 1234.
Finally, press the orange button at the top right to scan the QR code generated previously with S360, when the fields are completed, then validate by check and apply.
If the configuration is not correct, the below warning message is displayed on the screen, please contact support ot your CSM for help. If the configuration is correct, this is the message displayed on the screen.
