After having selected an event and a date, it might happen that the internet user doesn't find any seat matching his wishes. As a result, he may want to look for another performance date. Until now, the internet user had to go back to the event page and select another date. These numerous clicks aren't needed anymore. He can simply select another date from the seat selection page.
Solution
The internet user can easily switch from one performance to another by using the buttons and the date picker on the top right corner of the seat selection page.
The buttons allow to switch from one performance to another within the same date. A maximum of 3 buttons are displayed. If more than 3 performances (of the same event) are planned on that date, a couple of arrows will allow to scroll left (earlier performances) and right (later performances).
The internet user can switch to another performance with help of the date picker:
The date picker displays the dates at which the event takes place and the corresponding availability.
This feature is also provided in case of automatic seat selection:
This feature concerns only the switching of performances belonging to the same event.
Scope
- The performance switch isn't available after having added the seats to the cart. For example, if the internet user adds some seats to the cart and then clicks on Modify your seats, he won't be able to modify the performance date. If he wants to do so, he will have to remove the seats from the cart and perform the selection again.
- The performance switch isn't available while buying a season ticket or a package. Indeed, in such a case, the Ticket Shop first selects seats automatically and then lets the internet user modify the selection.
Competitions
The feature is also available for competitions, allowing to switch from one match to another. It works exactly in the same way as for events.
