For many operators, in particular those who carry out sales, the detection of the workstation is an important feature for the effective functioning of SecuTix. This is to ensure that the configured device (BOCA, TPE, etc.) functions well on the one hand, and that the operator works on the right sales point and in the right field on the other hand. The technical organization for the configuration and detection of the workstation has been redesigned in order to improve the following points:
- Rapidity of the initial loading
- Mobility of the workstation
- Reduction of the dependence on Java
Without going into technical details, the detection of the workstation post is now made during the initial configuration of the workstation in question. The identifier is therefore stored in the machine (via a cookie) and it is no longer necessary to make a detection after each connection. On a daily basis, during a connection to SecuTix, operators no longer need to wait for the detection of the workstation, this therefore improves the loading time.
Another important advantage for operators using a laptop, is that the identifier is no longer directly dependent on the network where it is found. The workstation remains associated to the machine on which the initial detection has been made, even when switching from a LAN to a Wifi, or from a Wifi to another.
