Easily control when tickets put on resale can actually be purchased on the resale platform.

High demand events or competitions often rely on the resale platform to ensure venues are not only sold out but that customers actually show up on the d-day. However, to avoid having tickets available "on the fly" and robots constantly purchasing what becomes available, it is very useful to be able to make those tickets available at a defined point in time.

Solution

A new point of sales parameter of the resale platform sales channel (C2C) allows you to retain tickets by default. This means current customers can put their ticket on resale but potential customers cannot immediately purchase them. The tickets can then be made available manually from the back-office of SecuTix.

Getting started

The new point of sales parameter "Resold ticket availability" is available on the C2C sales channels:

  • Immediate (current behavior): tickets put on resale are immediately available for purchase on the resale platform.
  • After manual validation (new option): tickets put on resale will only be available after an operator manually release them from the tickets on resale screen.

The tickets on resale screen has been improved to allow to easily toggle tickets between retained and released (previously known as private and public respectively) by allowing to filter on such tickets and release them in bulk.

Two new filters have also been added to target specific tickets:
