To date, organizations can export barcodes to external resellers using the BARCODES_FOR_RESELLER interface.

The status of these tickets are NOT_PRINTED which raises the following issues:

  • Technical problem: exported tickets cannot be updated from NON_PRINTED to CONTROLLED when the end-user enters the venue.
  • Legal problem: operators need to know the correct status of exported tickets.

In order to support the above request, exported tickets have to be updated to PRINTED using existing interface "Import printing status".

Improvement on "Import Printing Status"

Exported tickets are updated to PRINTED once imported back to the ticketing system using "Import Printing Status"

(Organization > Tools > List of interfaces > Printer Interface > function "Import Printing Status".

Mandatory parameters to setup:

  • URL: "?updateToPrintedState=true"
  • Import printing status: runs schedule to automatically get files on ftp server, or manually upload an exported file
    (Note: the exported file needs to enable "With headers" and Field separator = ";")
