To make your daily life easier, SecuTix offers you a list of standard, pre-configured reports that meet usual needs and much more. In fact, these reports are entirely customizable.

You can change data report, visible filters to generation and their default values, choose different orders and grouping, in short, you have the control on the total definition of the report. And you can save all the versions you need.

Share...

Reports can be limited to the current user, but you can choose to share your reports with the collaborators of your organization or with your entire institution in order to make sure that everyone shares the same view.

It is even possible to plan the automatic sending of a particular report to a set of receivers, for instance, to see every morning the sales of the previous day.

Export...

You can go further analyse your data by exporting your report to Excel. The exported data are in a readily usable format, so as to populate your own Excel sheet.

You can therefore examine more closely your data, generate graphics or aggregate recurrent data in order to compare them and point out trends.



Information

The new tool will manage approximately twenty reporting domains that will be delivered gradually from now to early 2016. The first domain, that of sales, is available right now and it will enable you to discover the great features of this tool.

Reports available in a standard

With each domain, SecuTix offers standard reports that can be directly used without any configuration. These reports fulfil two roles:

  • Cover the same needs that are met by the current reports, in order to replace them in time.
  • Provide interesting and unpublished additional information that current reports can not provide.

The following reports are provided for the sales area:

  • Revenue on a sales period. This report enables you to know the global revenue over a given period as well as the repartition per family product and per product.
  • Revenue of dated products. The report provides the revenue of dated products per expiration date time of the product. This date time can represent a session, a visit or a time-slot.
  • Session revenue. This report provides more detailed information on the revenue of an event. In fact, they are divided per session, contingent, seat category, sub-category of public and sales channel.
  • Time stamped pass revenue. This report provides the global revenue of a time-stamped pass as well as the division per slot.
  • Time slot revenue. This report enables to know the global income of the time slots used per several pass (example: the permanent exhibition of a museum can be visited via several pass, and emphasis is laid on the global revenue of permanent exhibition).
  • Revenue per product and per field of sales. This report provides an overview of the activity of each sales channel.

 How to add an standard report?

Create your own customized report

Standard reports don't entirely meet your needs? You can create a new report that exactly satisfies your needs very easily. To be more precise, you can determine:

  • Data on which the report is about. For instance, is the report based on all family products or on simple tickets?
  • Consolidation criteria of the report. For example, you can consolidate every revenue per sales channel or per date of order.
  • Columns to be presented. For example, the report can present excluding tax amounts, all including tax amounts, or both. It can separately present sales and reimbursements, or only the balance, etc.
  • Accounting criteria. For example: subsequent accounting of reimbursements on the original sales channel, sales accounting within a package or a subscription.

Each business field will offer a large choice of criteria that will enable you to customize your reports. During customization, you can determine default values for each criteria and decide if it can be modified during report generation. You can also create very simple customized reports to be used or offering a great flexibility of use. For example:a customized report can lay down consolidation and accounting criteria or, on the contrary, allow the operator modify these criteria during report generation.

The operator who creates a customized report can determine the visibility of this report:

  • It is visible by every organizations of the institution.
  • It is visible by the organization that created it.
  • It is only visible by the organization that created it.

 How to customize a standard report?

Exclusive reports

In rare cases, there may be a need that cannot be met by the fields provided, especially when the need simultaneously involves numerous several business fields. As in the past, SecuTix is able to develop specific reports on request. These reports can easily be integrated into the new tool without having to wait for the next version of SecuTix. This is a paid service.

Access rights

Access rights are defined for each business field. These rights enable you to:

  • Generate visible reports belonging to the domain
  • Create a customized report belonging to the domain
  • Modify a customized report
  • Delete a standard or customized report
  • Add a standard report

Co-existence with existing reporting tools

Presently, SecuTix offers the following reports:

  • Operational reports available from the "Sales management" module based on the tool "Crystal report"
  • EQB reports based on the SSRS (Reporting Services) tool.
  • BI reports are also based on the SSRS tool, but they access a dedicated database

The new reporting tool is also based on SSRS. It is aimed, with time, to replace EQB and BI operational reports. Initially, the new reporting tool will coexist with the existing reports. Consequently, we invite you to use new reports as they are delivered and to send us your comments.
