If you are sending postal mails to your customers, you are probably receiving some of those back to you because the customers does not leave at the specified postal address ("NPAI"). Such contact are marked with a NPAI contact criteria. From now, when a contact will update his postal address, the contact criteria will be automatically reset.


The new update contact criteria batch will let you automatically update the selected contact criteria with the value you have defined within the schedule whenever a postal address is changed by your customers or by an operator. This will help you maintain the hightest data quality of all the postal addresses of your contacts.


Getting started

Configuration

  1. Go to organisation context >> Tools >> List of Batches
  2. Create "Update contact criteria" batch.
  3. Define the triggers that will update your contact criteria values.
  4. Click on Schedule to activate your schedule.


Triggers available

Contact address change of :

  • Main address
  • Shipping address
  • Billing address


Action

  • Reset : set back the criterion value to the original value (the value null)
  • Update : set the new value that should be set for the contact criteria when the batch is triggered.
  • Contact criteria : select the contact criteria to update.
  • Value : the current value of the contact criteria, the batch will only set the new value if the current Value is the one you select here.
  • New value : the value that will be set
