Context

A new type of season ticket called a fixed price season card, allows your customer to buy a card of X matches inside a championship (for example 5 matches for a 19 matches championship) and select the matches in a later step.

With this feature, an organization/operator gets more flexibility and an opportunity to configure multiple season tickets with different pricing and limited access rights to the matches. 

Buyers on the other hand get access to potentially more affordable options and get the flexibility to attend the matches of their own choosing. Choosing the matches does not need to happen at the time of the purchase but can be done during the season.   

Solution - Key configuration steps 

You can configure the Fixed Price Season card from the catalog. Go to Catalogue > Season tickets > New

Chose a Predefined type of season ticket and configure the mandatory parameters in the general screen. 

In the parameter screen, configure the number of tickets ('Number of authorized tickets') that the user will be allowed to distribute among the championship games.

The Min and Max subscription lines define how many lines the user is allowed to choose from (Configured in the "Lines" screen - Lines is a set or subset of matches that can fall into a group that you allow users to choose from). 

Configure at least one Line. As activity select Sport and select the event. You can also choose to filter Rate types and specify which performances fall into this group line.

Quotas - As a next step configure the quotas per wanted category and a Fixed price per category 

Product Profiles - select the product profile that links this season card to the sales channel/ticket shop.

After configuring, save your work and validate from the Validation screen. When ready to publish click "Run" from the Season tickets screen. The system might need a few minutes to synchronize with the ticket shop. Check after 5-10 minutes if the season card product appears in the ticket shop.  

Solution - Ticket shop purchase 

The season card will by default displayed in the season tickets section. We recommend you choose a clear name for this type of season card to make it clear to the buyers. Example; 'Flex 10 ticket Season Card'. The description in the season card configuration will give you the flexibility to describe to the buyer, what this purchase offer in detail depending on your configuration (2nd image below). 

Selection of Quantity = 1 means selection of pack of credits/tickets configured with the parameter 'Number of authorized tickets' on the parameter screen (check the "Key Configuration steps" section above).

The rest is followed by completing the checkout process. 

Solution - Ticket shop after the purchase 

After the purchase, the Buyer will have an access to the subscription from their account on the ticket shop.

Before or during the season the buyer is able to choose which e.g. Championship games they want to attend (one or multiple at the same time).

Each of their selection will be put into the "Your subscription" cart that requires validation of the choice by clicking "Add to Subscription" 

The buyer can access the subscription via the subscription tab from their account. From there the buyer can always monitor the performances available and choose and select more performances. After the tickets are added to subscription and the order is finalized the buyer will get access to the tickets.  

By clicking on See Details the buyer can access the information about their selection and access the tickets.

The 'Add Performances to my subscription' button will bring the buyer to the selection screen where they can add more matches to their selection and claim the tickets.
