Operators creating or modifying a contact file, or ticketshop users selling their tickets, can specify refund information in the form of ‘Financial information’ contact criteria.

You can use this feature by raising a Kayako ticket to send the Support team the list of fields required in the box office and ticketshop.

  • In the box office, the fields are shown in the ‘Financial information’ section of the contact file. The example below shows the fields that you can specify to make refunds easier. If the operator specifies the ‘Bank Account Number/IBAN’ and ‘Bank BIC/SWIFT' fields, the system carries out certain checks.

  • In the ticketshop, this information is shown in two places:
    • the profile screen and the payment method screen


    • When the ticket is placed on resale, the refund information fields are automatically displayed only if the tickets were originally paid for by a method other than a credit card. Where this is the case, users can tick a ‘Bank refund’ box and complete the details required for the refund..
