Privacy and data protection are at the forefront of our priorities. With this release, we’ve made significant enhancements on the spectator deletion process.

As usual, spectator deletion can be initiated from

  • spectator's wallet (My Profile > Delete my account)
  • TIXNGO back-office (Spectators > Delete)

Enhanced Anonymization popup

To limit back-office activities to assess the impact of spectator account deletion, we introduced in the existing "Remove spectator account" popup a check in order to verify if the spectator has tickets for upcoming events.

New popupDescription

These improvements provides back-office ADMIN with clearer, more concise information, offering greater transparency and control over account deletion.

Overview of spectator ticket ownership

  • If spectator has no tickets for future events: <number of tickets> ticket(s) owned by the spectator
  • If spectator has tickets for future events: <number of tickets> tickets owned by the spectator including tickets for upcoming events

Overview of spectator ticket ownership by event

Instead of the previous list of individual tickets (which was cumbersome if a loyal spectator has a more than 10 tickets), we simplified the screen in order to have a summary of spectator's tickets, including event’s tickets counts, where events are sorted by date descending.

  • <Event name> | <Event start date>: number of <number of tickets> tickets

Minor Changes in Anonymization Rules

Alongside enhancing the user interface for data anonymization, we have also made minor adjustments to the anonymization rules themselves.
These changes are part of our continuous effort to align with the latest data protection regulations and to ensure that user data is handled with the utmost care and security. While these adjustments are minor, they are crucial for maintaining compliance and safeguarding user privacy, while keeping some for analytics.

Multilingual templates for Spectator deletion emails

In our continued effort to provide flexibility on branding and communications, we introduced multi-lingual templates for the emails during Spectator deletion.
Alongside the two new templates and combined with spectator's preferred language, this update ensures that our users can request and follow their account deletion effectively, in their own language, enhancing the overall user experience.

Responsive Layout and Multilingual support for the spectator web confirmation

After introducing the multilingual versions of the account deletion emails, and recognizing the importance of a seamless user experience, we have adapted the layout and the content of our web confirmation page.
This adaptation is not just aesthetic; it’s functional, making these pages more accessible and easier to use. Furthermore, to support our diverse user base, we have extended multilingual support to web confirmation pages as well.

This means that users can receive confirmations in their chosen language, ensuring clarity and improving the overall user interaction with our platform. Please note, that these web-page translations are common to all organizers and cannot be modified.
