Color configuration tool

The different "view modes" of the back-end seat map used for physical/logical/sales configuration and sales display colors that are either:

• taken from the configured entity, e.g., for the category, contingent or category+contingent modes
• defined in the system, e.g., for the controlled ticket or remark modes
• or generated randomly, for all other modes.

These default colors may not render in the best possible way, either because they are not distinct enough or simply because they do not look good. With Whymper V.2 the seat map parametrisation provides now a color configurator to the operator to define them.

Note that the configured colors are saved at the physical configuration level (even for view modes only available at the logical or sales configuration level). This means that setting colors, for example, from a sales configuration will impact its physical configuration along with all the logical and sales configurations related to that physical configuration. The main purpose of this feature is to define nice colors, once and for all.

Beautiful printouts for external usage

This new tool can be used in coordination with the printing feature of the seat map to generate beautiful printouts for your clients, without overriding the default colors of the system.

Indeed, the operator can modify the colors, use the "apply" button (without saving) and then print the map with the new colors. After printing, simply cancel the modification from the color configurator to go back to the default colors.

In addition, a new option in the "print" pop-up has been added to allow switching between printing "external names" (default) and "internal names".
