Here is one way to solve the problem of staring at a blank page when you come to design your seat map! The seat map editor now lets you insert a vector graphics image (an SVG file) as a background while you add seats, shapes and additional graphical elements.
If you have a vector graphics image of your auditorium (or stadium) you can use this as a background for the design in the seat map editor. The editor allows you to re-scale, change orientation, and position with reference to the top and left side of the editor to ensure your picture lines up with the image of the seats.
