You will now be able to select the sales channel on which the reset password link (mentioned in the reset password email) will be based. This is useful when a relay working on a B2B sales channel creates a B2C contact during the distribution process.

Solution

By clicking on the reset password link and entering his new password, the internet user will be automatically logged in to some sales channel. By default, this is the sales channel from which the internet user has requested the account creation or clicked on the forgotten password option. Although this already existing behaviour is fine in most of the cases, it may lead to unwanted behaviours in special cases. For example, when a relay distributes some tickets to a new contact (that is created during the distribution process), the new contact will receive a reset password email linked to the B2B sales channel used for the distribution. However, the newly created contact cannot login to this B2B sales channel.

A similar issue may appear if you manage several B2C sales channels, for example one for each country of residence of your internet users.
