You can now define resale fees that are deducted from the amount refunded to the reseller for each of its resold tickets. Fees can be defined as a percentage (with min/max value per tickets), or as a fix fee per ticket, and are applied to all tickets resold on the resale platform. You can therefore derive additional revenues from the resale processed on your official ticket resale platform.

Resellers are clearly informed about the fees when they put tickets on resale: after defining their resale price (if applicable), customers see the amount that they would actually get refunded taking into account resale fees before confirming the resale.

How to get started?

Resale fees are setup, in the institution context, as overheads of type "Refund by contact" and their amount is determined based on the overhead table associated to the resale platform sales channel.

Unlike other overheads, refund overheads for the resale platform are charged per ticket and not per order. In this way, the fee remains the same for the reseller irrespective of the number of buyers.

Warning

Overhead tables may be changed at a later point. If this happens, all resale happening after the change will be charged the new updated fee. Such changes should happen when the resale platform is closed or a separate communication to the customer having ticket currently on resale should be organized, to avoid customer complaints in case the charged fee would be higher than expected by the customer.
