Why are we removing Questionnaire?

When we first introduced the Ticket Holder Questionnaire, we wanted to give the ability to the organizers to ask their attendees specific questions beyong traditional personal data collection leveraging the use of the Marketing opt-in or to reuse it during COVID to collect the data required by the authorities.

Initially, this feature was introduced with the intention of allowing event organizers to gather specific information from attendees beyond the usual personal data. This could include marketing preferences or, as seen during the COVID-19 pandemic, information required by authorities for health and safety compliance.

However, the organization observed that despite the feature's potential, it did not achieve the expected level of engagement or popularity among its intended audience. Additionally, the feature was found to be contributing to a decrease in the overall performance of the system. This realization led to the decision to decommission the feature, indicating a strategic shift to prioritize system performance and user engagement over the extended data collection capabilities offered by the questionnaire.
