Spectator Locking/Unlocking mechanism overview

Once locked, a spectator is prohibited from transferring, assigning, or reselling any of his/her tickets.

Once unlocked, a spectator can perform transfer, assignment or resale of his/her tickets as configured at according to the current configuration (organizer & ticket level settings).

  • By default, all spectators are 'Unlocked'.
  • Spectator's Lock status superseeds any transfer rules available on the tickets he/she holds.
  • Locking a spectator is a manual task.

Locked

Right after the e-mail address, a lock icon will be displayed if the spectator is locked

In the spectator section, a warning message will be displayed if the spectator is locked

Unlocked

No lock icon after the e-mail address

No warning message

How to lock a spectator ?

Once locked, a new lock icon appears after the email address and the Lock action is replaced by the Unlock action.

How to unlock a spectator ?

Only a locked spectator can be unlocked by a back-office user with ADMIN role.
