Previously, while we can identify spectators or scalpers holding an implausible quantity of tickets, we were unable to inhibit the transfer of these tickets to secondary purchasers, aside from manually deleting tickets from suspicious spectators.

We have now introduced a new feature, allowing you to lock (and unlock) spectators preventing them to do specific actions from the wallet.

Spectator Locking/Unlocking mechanism overview

Once locked, a spectator is prohibited from transferring, assigning, or reselling any of his/her tickets.

Once unlocked, a spectator can perform transfer, assignment or resale of his/her tickets as configured at ticket level.

Who can lock/unlock a spectator ?

Only back-office users with ADMIN role can lock or unlock a spectator.

How to know the 'lock' status of a spectator ?

Right after the e-mail address, a lock icon will be displayed if the spectator is lockedImage Added

How to lock a spectator ?

Only an unlocked spectator can be locked by a back-office user with ADMIN role.

To do so, please go to the Spectators list screen and search for the spectator you want to block.

In the Actions section of the grid, click the lock icon Image Added

Please confirm or abandon the locking action by clicking the adequate button.

Once locked, a new lock icon appears after the email address and the Lock action is replaced by the Unlock action.

How to unlock a spectator ?

Only a locked spectator can be unlocked by a back-office user with ADMIN role.

To do so, please go to the Spectators list screen and search for the spectator you want to unblock.
